Reading a book can often help a child understand the message of I love you by connecting actions to the words.
This title is an especially sweet way to do this:
Each turn of the page presents a new way to develop this character trait and show love to others throughout many everyday activities.
This board book also includes an interactive element particularly great for the smallest readers: large, sturdy flaps to unfold and discover examples of ways to be kind to others.
I especially love how each suggestion is paired with an appropriate Bible verse, adding support to the message.
This book would make a sweet addition to your home library. Its illustrations are engaging and the six different places it shows love hiding are relatable to children everywhere.
The flaps make this selection entirely appropriate for reading with babies, but the subject matter and verses (which would make a great first memory set) extend the age of the audience throughout preschool and possibly even the early elementary years, especially as you start to focus on learning about character qualities with your child.
